Default Have an issue

recently bought 2000 SS from a buy here pay here place. They changed the ignition key set, and I have an intermittent problem with the car. The Climate control, over head display, and the cruise control sometimes do not work right away when I start the car. After driving it for some time they will click on and work, but then from time to time the Climate controls will stop working for awhile, and start again. Is this because of the ignition, or is it something else?

@Racer33 - The ignition key and lock cylinder is not related to the issues you mentioned. I would suspect a possible bad ground somewhere in the car.
It's a stretch (as I don't know what all gets power through it), but the ignition switch itself (the housing the lock cylinder is in), may have power wires with issues. Also, if there are any aftermarket electrical items (likes stereos/amps), how that stuff was installed can muddy things.
