Greetings from an Indiana girl!
I actually stumbled across this forum while trying to google the miscellaneous issues my almost paid off Monte is currently giving me. Isn't that the way it usually works??
Anywho, my name is Rachel and I live in a teeny little rural town outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana. I'm 33, a single mom, full-time college student finishing up my Bachelors, and I work part-time with people that have disabilities and/or are developmentally delayed.
I have a 2004 Monte Carlo that I purchased in 2009. My former job introduced me to a man who owns a local dealership and he knew I needed a better car due to my child having medical issues and we frequented Riley Hospital in Indianapolis (a 2 hour drive). He gave me a wonderful deal. My father whom I no longer speak to, was a mechanic for numerous years and my previous go-to person for all car related issues. He was more of a motorcycle guy though. My grandfather who passed in 95, owned a dealership and collected street rods, hot rods, whatever you choose to call it. So I have a decent knowledge of cars.
So... that's me!
