Default Greetings from Florida

Hi, I am Bruce; I'm 55 and live in central Florida. I'm new to the forum but not new to Monte Carlo ownership. I have had several Monte Carlos and my current daily driver is a '73 Landau; 350/350 that I paid $750 cash for 30 years ago. Since it is my daily driver and only vehicle the body is rough but I keep it mechanically in good condition so it runs great and is safe. My goal is to eventually completely restore it; but not necessarily to original condition; I just need to be able to park it long enough to finish the body work and paint it. I work as a maintenance mechanic at a nearby college and do all my own mechanical and body work on the car. I like to repair small engines and lawn equipment as a sideline.

Welcome aboard! I am also from central Florida, and while I drive a modern Monte, the first one I ever loved was a '73, although I suspect the experience was improved by the driver....
