Default Greetings

New (to me) Monte Carlo owner here. Just picked up a 1998 Monte Carlo Z34 this evening. It is in good condition even though it has 116K miles.

I am sure I will be participating in the forums later.

Well, the Hummer is not the nicest looking vehicle. I actually take it off-roading on a regular basis. The reason I bought the Monte was to preserve the miles on the Hummer for off-roading. Believe it or not, I regularly get over 20MPG in the H3. It only has a 3.5L 5 cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission behind it.

The Solstice still turns a lot of heads. In reality, it is the wife's car and she will occasionally let me drive it.

Great looking 5th Gen. At that mileage on the 3800, that car is still an infant

Enjoy the forum and the ride!

Almost forgot . . .

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! I am already getting some good stuff out of the forum. I have the typical broken console lid and the borked passenger side airbag. It looks like i got my work cut out for me this weekend!
