Default good day monte fans !

Hi My name is Mike a long time monte carlo owner going back to the seventys owning 8 various models over the years. Current model is a fully loaded 2000 SS with sunroof I custom ordered brand new in march 2000. IT has 32000 summer miles on it, rare driftwood metallic color. The car is mint condition, always stored indoors. Never a daily driver more of a toy. Hope to be of help in this forum.

Hi Mike.
Your car seems awesome.
Would love to see some pics of it.
Your story sounds familiar. My first Monte was a '76 Landeau. Now have a '00 and '03 SS. Sold the '01 SS.

Smile Life in the Monte Carlo zone !

Good day to everyone, thanks for the welcome. Monte Carlo is a sport luxury car for the person looking for a style of its own. My first monte was a 1974 bright green sport coupe with a white top, great car ! then I ordered a 1977 monte carlo brown with a tan half roof and buckskin interior and turbine wheels. Next came the 1985 monte CL black with tan top and tan pillow top interior with wire wheels, this car was stolen in 1986 never recovered. That gave me a reason to buy a 1986 silver SS loaded with T-tops another great fun car. The 95-99 Monte was lumina based did not really due justice to the Monte Carlo name. Then in 2000 the Monte Carlo was restyled with a classic look. I ordered my current 2000 SS loaded in driftwood metallic. I have installed chrome wheels, smoked led taillamps, lwr body line wide stripes that say Chevrolet. I dressed up the black interior by putting the red SS emblems on the interior door panels and dash. Will post pictures asap. Mike
