I recently joined. I have owned my 1987 MC SS for four years. I am in need of replacement glass for a passenger side mirror. Can anyone that has a 87 if there passenger mirror is flat or convex and has the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" print. My current mirror glass has been desilvered (has black streaks/marks) and does not have the "objects ......" warning. I don't know if that warning came on 87 passenger side mirrors and want to keep my car as close to as original when it came off the lot. I am an originalist when it comes to repairs.
