Thanks a lot guys! Thanks to Taz for the links.
I'm not sure what happened on the fender. It was there when the previous owners bought it, too. It almost looks like something fell on it. There is light scuffing (hard to see) in the clearcoat on the hood in that area too, so I don't know. It looks like it might buff out. It wasn't enough to deter me from the purchase.
My dad wants to add some things to his LS, probably the "NASCAR inspired" rear spoiler first, then dual exhaust and foglights. I don't know if he'll go as far as putting a factory style body kit, wheels, etc. though.

Does your dad have a spoiler on it now? If he has the flat "surf board" spoiler, he could get the Nascar inspired spoiler from a 2006-2007 Monte and use the same mounting holes.

Edit: Don't let your dad see the forum, we're very good at spending other people's money. LOL. (just kidding)

Nope, no spoiler on his, its a pretty basic LS. If he reads this forum, I'm sure he'd get a lot of new ideas. LOL

You're right. I'm not.

The people on this forum have spent lots of my money. Including stuff I haven't put on the car yet. Like the 5th gen trunk lid panel you told me adds 50 horsepower. I smell popcorn-laced shenanigans! :p

Welcome to the forum........ Nice Pace Car and LS. It looks like "Taz" is helping you out pretty good so far. There are some very knowledgeble people on here and just plain "Car Crazy" Are those a couple of Dodge Daytona's in the background ? Those are rare cars now.

Yes, we have 4 Daytonas here. Two are on the road, the one is show-worthy and the other is driver quality. The other two need restored and are off the road.
