FINALLY!!! Put money down for my 1987 SS
It drove like a dream, i went through the gears, checked the fluids, Checked the fram, the trunk, checked the t tops, checked the ball joints, how it turns, first gear second third over drive and drive are great, the reverse the same. breaks stops great for a almost 4000 lb car, the engine started right up cold, the fan didnt kick on till the engien got hot. i was there for about an hour and a half inspecting it. The windshield wipers work, all lights work, the water windshield squirters both work, headlights directionals, break lights. Its all there. Rockers are clean, Not ONE drop of rust. He said 3500 was too steep from 4200 but he'll do 3600 so i said Deal. The doors close right up, NO sag. Power windows both work, intereior lights al lwork, radio works great. I dont know if you guys have followed my posts but i joined back in march but I've been looking for a monte carlo for well over a year now and this is it. Theres just one other guy looking tomorrow and the guy said he doesnt think he even has 3600 so it looks like ill be buying this car thursday and driving it home same day! chyeahh!!!
Thanks everyone! I hope it works out as well. I've done my hours of work, put up the money, and said my prayers. It's up to the bug guy in the sky to male it all happen now. I'll know all tomorrow evening. I hope I can finally be a real member here WITH a Monte starting tomorrow.
