Default Finally decided to rebuild!!!!

Pulling out a 327 (I think wont know to we measure it) out of my 72. Finally decided to rebuild after not hearing good reviews about buying a used engine and I wanna have a little control on whats being used in the engine too. Just finished draining the oil and coolant. Hopefully the engine will be out by Thursday. Like to hear any good ideas or advice you have anything will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

If you can afford them, get a nice new set of aftermarket aluminum heads. It's the only thing I REALLY wish I had picked up for my 327. Still plan for them down the road. New aluminum heads are going to net you much more power than the best head work on the best stock casting iron heads (even double hump). Though you can still get respectable power from reworkd iron heads.

I used to buy from Jeggs a long time ago and at the time they had really good prices. I bought from them the Holley carb, the weiand intake manifold, headers, accell ignition, performer aluminum heads and a few other things and was very satisfied with the service.
