engine swap
hello. I'm new to this forum and I would like to know has any attempted to put a vortec 4.8 liter engine into an early model Monte Carlo. If so, I would like to see pics of this install and what problems you ran into trying to do this.

I don't have the car yet but I was looking for a 1972-1987 monte carlo and the current vehicle I have is a 2004 chevy tahoe. I was wondering has anyone done this swap yet

A buddy of mine has a late 80's Monte, and he put one of those motors in. Not sure all he did, but I know one of his headers was rubbing against a mount.
