Hi, I have a code (P0118 Engine coolant) on my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS 3.8L

I have already replaced the ECT sensor that is located right under the thermostat housing (in block) but my light is still on. Is there another ECT sensor or temp switch sensor I don't know about? If so I have no idea where it is although I have heard reference that there is but I do not know the location.

I have already changed one ECT sensor, The thermostat, Topped off the cooling system and have no clue to what to do next. Please help.

 

There could be an issue with the wiring to the system or a ground if you replaced the sensor already.

Are you getting a reading on your gauge for the sensor?
