Hi guys need help . When my daytime running lights kick in my dash lights go out. BCM??? or Headlight Switch????? 2003 Monte Carlo SS. It"s Driving me crazy..lol

 

The dash lights are suppose to dim when the headlamps come on. Have you turned the **** clockwise when this happens to see if the dashlights brighten?

 

I would say headlight switch. My headlight switch was failing and the dash lights and all the background lights in the car we’re working intermittently. I changed the headlight switch and everything is good for now. I say for now because this car has been a lot of trouble compared to the 1999 Monte Carlo I had. I put 399,940 miles on the 1999 and made very few repairs to it.
