I had a mustang once and it was the biggest POS I have ever had. It was a 94 3.8 and I think I did the head gaskets twice and on the third time I cracked the block. I drove it hard but not hard enough to do that much damage I will never buy Ford again.

well my car is basically stock. 3.8L v6, with a fenderwell CAI and a Flowmaster 40 Series single muffler. the car isnt very fast..but its quicker then a stock v6. It has about 230-240hp. I havent raced at a track yet seeing as im underaged. But as soon as I hit 18 ill be over that. As far as driving, I love the car. handles well, acceleration is nice, and it gets attention for the color and the convertible. the color is called electric green, and they only used it for 3 years, my year, 01' they only made about 2,000 compared to a black mustang where they made about 10,000 per year. so im glad my car is rare to an extent.

Ford Racing News Tim Wilkerson Grabs Second Straight FC Win
Apparently, the transition period has ended for Tim Wilkerson. After trying to get a handle on his new Shelby Mustang during the first 13 starts for Team Ford Racing, the veteran from Springfield, Ill., sailed to his second consecutive victory Sunday, winning the Funny Car Wally at the 22nd annual Fram/Autolite Nationals, completing the three races that comprise the NHRA Western Swing.
Mustang Will Race in the Nationwide Series in 2010
Mustang is already the most successful single nameplate in Ford Racing's professional racing history, but it hasn't competed in NASCAR - until now. Brian Wolfe, director of Ford North America Motorsports, made the announcement Wednesday that Mustang will debut as part of NASCAR's new car limited rollout in the 2010 Nationwide Series. Buffomante Wins Mustang Challenge in Chicago
Tony Buffomante wanted this win for a number of reasons: He lives 20 miles from the track, it was his last appearance for the season in the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge; and, above all, he wanted to take a hometown win to reward his dad and crew for all their labor in preparing his Ford Mustang FR500S. Mission accomplished.

Sportsman Spotlight - Michaud Scores First-Ever Win For Ford Crate Engine
Cris Michaud of Northfield, VT, captured a "double first" with his win at Thunder Road International Speedbowl last Thursday. Not only was it the first victory for the new Ford Racing S347JR Sealed Engine, but the first Ford-powered win in American Canadian Tour (ACT) history, too. Michaud and crew chief Kendell Legendre actually performed all of the testing and development for the S347JR to have it approved for competition in the ACT Late Model Stock Car series in June. With Ford Racing power under the hood, Michaud's Ford Fusion has become one of the hottest cars in ACT, the premier late model stock car series in New England. Michaud started the feature race in 6th, and made the outside pass for the win on the tight Speedbowl with just 5 laps to go.
