Default Can I use different oil
Hi, my wife has a 2007 Monte carlo LS V6. Her car requires 5w 30 oil. Her car has about 105,000 miles. She heard she could use a different viscosity oil. Is this true, wise?

Stick with the same oil. Don't fall for the gimmicks.
