A/C Not blowing as cold as it should...
I have put some stop leak in with that red dye and two 12 OZ. cans of R-134a in today. and i have'nt seen any trace of the red dye and it dose'nt seem to be geting as cold as it should be. i still may need another can i dont know but it still as cool as it was whene i put the first one in. it eventualy gets half &ss cold after you drive it for a little bit but not as cold as it should be. but like i said i may need another one or maybe it has a blockage in the line or something whatcha think...
Allso iv'e noticed that whene the A/C cuts on it makes a grinding noise and thene it spits out what looks like green dye out of the little hole in the back of the compressor. then it will cut off and it will cut back on again and do the same thing it spits like that about every other 2 or 3 times it cuts on. i wonder if maybe iv'e got to much in it i dont know i know its not as cold as it should be.
I just bought a 1996 z34 monte carlo yesterday. So far I like it, but then again I've always loved monte carlos. There are a couple of questions I'm hoping to get help with cause the car came with no books of any sort. First being where the heck is the container for the windshield wiper fluid? Also the airconditioner doesn't seem to be cooling like it should. Are you supposed to press the button on the max ac switch to get it to come on or is that just for the defroster?
