I have a 2007 LT I am wanting to replace the front bumper cover. Has any body used a 2005 bumper cover? will it work. Parts are easy to find up to 2005 very hard to find for 2006 & 2007

Dont know if itll fit but theyre easy enough to find.. Quick google search showed 5 results all within about 50-70 dollars.. Thats if youre willing to paint it which you most likely would have to with a 6th gen anyway..

What do you just like the look better??

Whether it fits or not, you're likely to regret your decision when the round dents in the new bumper cover don't match up with the straight bottomed headlights on your car.

To make the swap, you need to swap fenders, hood, headlights, bumper cover and associated support. It should be possible (I saw a 00-05 style Monte where the owner successfully swapped all the body pieces to a 06-07 style). The question becomes how much effort and money do you want to put into the project.

X2... Would take a lot of effort to do that swap out. People have put the 06 and up Impala bumper cover on their 06-07 Montes. The fender lines have to be reworked a smidge to totally look correct.
