Belated introduction
Hello, everybody.
I joined the forum in 2010 when i bought my first 2003 Monte Carlo and had all sorts of questions and was doing things to it. I never got around to any formal introduction, profile, or forum questions of my own, but always look for answers and hope somebody has pics and advise.
My name is Dave, and i'm almost 52 now. I have been single (divorced) since 2008 and I'm a Truck Driver.
My first Monte was a black 2003 SS and i had done a few things to it. It WAS nice, until a bear ran into it on the Hwy one night and it became a total loss. I went through 3 different cars before getting another 2003 SS (White this time) a year and a half ago.... I just like them.

Hi `Dave, great to see you back. What type of truck do you drive ?
How's life in WA now that you are free ? How many miles on your Monte ?
Look forward to seeing you more often...

Hi, Mike~I have been rummaging through the forums since '09 minus 3 years between the two, albeit, invisible. I love the ideas and how-to hints and it is very helpful to know what brands and places to go for a part or accessory.
I drive Class A/tractor-trailer combo. Commercial since 1994. Very regional now, still heavy haul.
As for WA state, it is a very beautiful state, but i had no idea it was the most feminist and dad-haitin' state in the Union. To make matters worse, i was divorced in the worst county. FREE? I wish. LOL! I am a slave now. That ordeal changed a lot of perspective for me. I have a library of thoughts on divorce and truckin' let me tell ya...and no it's not all bad. I learn.
I will get around to posting some pics, the very few i have of either i owned. When i bought the current, it had maybe 88k miles on it. 103k now. Purring like a happy kitty.
Funny you say a lot has happened since, because it seems to me the car is becoming more difficult to find and accessorize. Coming out the other end of winter i have the fever

Hi `Dave,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I've learned from friends that divorce can cost a lot of $'s + so much more. I still think it's better then staying together `if the love is lost. Now, that's torture. Look forward to seeing pictures of your Monte's; past & present. I've visited Washington online & it's a beautiful State that I'd like to visit someday. Be Happy to be working/driving & seeing the World. Look forward to your future posts. EnJoy Life & the MCF
