I'm extremely happy to say after many years I'm back into a monte! My previous 4 montes were a 1970,a1972, a1978, and a 2007. All in that order too.
I just acquired a 1974 , buckets console and a 454 ! needless to say i cant wait for the weather to break here in New Hampshire so i can get my butt in the seat !
Its far from perfect but ill work on it as i drive it !
Cant wait to hear from other monte owners too !

It's nice to know a fellow New Hampshire soul has a desire to drive one of these classics. We've owned our 74 since 1984. Bought in Hawaii while stationed there and ended up back in NH after serving in the Army. But, now that we've purchased a home in Arizona, our Monte Carlo resides there. I'm still in NH babysitting a house on the market for sale. When it's sold, I'm retired and gone to drive our classic amongst the desert wildlife. See below.
