Just wanted to sign-on and say hi. Picked up an 06 LTZ a couple of weeks ago and I aminterested in any items to be aware of and what to expect for the next several years. Not a very good experience so far....after driving the car for a week, it was in the shop for the tire pressure monitoring system, new A-post covers, broken On-Star antenna, and front end noise (ie- backing out of a parking space) thatwas not evidentwhen I bought it. Everything is fixed except the front end noise - dealer consulted with GM engineering and now has a new steering rack on order.Just got it back last night, thismorning on the way to work, the CD changer decided it did not want to load a CD or play existing CD without skipping. One more thing to add to the list. Glad there is plenty of warrenty left!!Hope things start to go better soon, I replaced a 97 Intrepid with 200,000 miles that gave me very little trouble.

On the positive side, I really like the car. Itlooks and drives great and hasgreat options. The 3.9L V-6 has decent power and mileage. I like having a 2 door again, just need to remember how big the doors are when opening!!

 

Welcome, your list of problems is almost identical to mine.

Not to worry, they are supposedly aware of all the issues.

Maybe it was a mistake to make the car in Canada. (j/k, j/k j/k)

Once they iron out all the issues, you are going to have one heck of an awesome car there.

Don't be afraid topump theengine to about 5000 rpms and feel the kick of the VVT.
