On behalf of the staff and members of MonteCarloForum.com, Welcome!! We're an online community composed of and serving Monte Carlo enthusiasts and owners! You don't have to be an owner to be an enthusiast!
Before you begin posting, I encourage you to take a moment and review the rules for our site. They can be found here: MonteCarloForum.com Rules
Hopefully as a new member you received and responded to your confirmation e-mail. If so, you're moving right along. If you have not received the confirmation e-mail, it's possible your e-mail provider has filtered it as SPAM or Junk. If you are still having trouble, please click here to start a new thread in the "MCF Problems & Issues" section and a member of the staff can assist you.
Even if you received and respond to your confirmation e-mail, you're almost a full access member. To help prevent SPAM bots, as a new member you will still have some temporary restrictions. Once you have been a member for 5 days and made at least 10 posts, the system will automatically promote you to a full access member. Click here to view the temporary restrictions.
As a new member, we the staff, encourage you to click here and start a thread in the "New Member" section introducing yourself. Please don't use this to discuss a problem with your car (as we have other sections for that). Feel free to share anything about yourself that you wish. If you need some suggestions, here are some common items (none of these are requirements):
- Your first name
- Your age
- If you own a Monte, if so, what year and trim level
- A little about yourself (what do you do for a living, hobbies, music, sports, movies, TV shows, etc)
After you finish your introduction, here are a couple popular threads that you might find of interest to comment on and assist with increasing your post count to meet the requirement to become a full member:
- five favorite mods on your monte?
- What were you first 5 Monte mods?
- What did you pay for your Monte Carlo?
We also encourage you to review the MonteCarloForum Specific FAQs for additional information about our community, such as who the current staff is and the daily member's blog. If you need assistance with some maintenance items, please view the FWD Monte Maintenance at 100,000 miles thread.
Again, welcome to MonteCarloForum.com!
