Good afternoon. My name is Scott and I am 49-years young and live on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My parents had a 1974 Monte Carlo with the landeau roof. It was a brown Monte with the round headlights of that era and an off white landeau. As I entered my senior year of high school in 1987 I bought a 76 Monte that was red on red with a landeau roof and the double rectangular headlights. Around that time the Monte Carlo SS had been out for several years and I use to see them in the paring lot of Robert Chevrolet as I rode my bike through to get the supermarket where I was a bag boy. I always dreamed of owning a Monte Carlo SS but life got in the way and it was never in the budget until 2016 when I purchased a well maintained 1987 Monte Carlo SS (black on tan) with T-tops. It is a Southern bell and it ain't much but she's mine and a pleasure to drive. When I exercise her it transports me to simpler care free times.
