'79 Monte Carlo

Hey, im new
havent got it yet but i met a guy wants to trade me his '79 Monte Carlo for my '82 Cadillac Fleetwood

He says it is a V8 with 4-barrel carb
anyone know specs on these engines?

I havent had a look at it yet but im pretty interested, anything i should look out for thanks guys!

Yes ... rust, especially on the rear part of the frame, under the trunk area....
