70 ss monte carlo astro blue

hay mcf members : does any know if chevrolet made a am 8track stero or if it was a am radio in the dash an a 8 track under the dash ? the window sticker reads stero tape with am radio. do we have a first gen. guru out there?

I really like 70-72 Olds Cutlasses/442s and their 8 tracks were mounted under the dash near the passenger side - same with all other A-body GM cars, and the 69 Chevelle.

Tommy, my email is dimirsky@ipa.net for the pictures. I can post them after you send them if you want me to. As far as I know, all 8 tracks during those years were mounted under the dash. I had a 69 Caprice with the AM/FM stereo and the 8 track mounted under the dash.
