http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdcNqeI37jM here's the clip!!! sorry for the delay been busy!! This is without a resonator and summit fully welded chambered racing mufflers. The clip is slightly distored and didnt pick up the really low tones it produces. As of the cold air intake, I removed the factory intake box to see what i would need and how much room i have to work with in there. The factory box pulls air right behind the driver headlight. The tricky part is going to be with the ignition system. It is mounted inside the airbox and I am going to do some research first about the conections and if it must stay in cool air. So as of now that is on the back burner. If anyone has any 411 on the ingition system in the airbox please help with some direction.

There are several companies that sell polycarbonite trays to hold the PCM.
Here is just one:

I don't see why you can't use the mount that's in the box and cut the box away, but then I don't remember what it looks like, either.

I am going to cut the front of the box bigger and use rubber weather seal to make sure all the air comes in from the headlight and not engine bay. Then I am going to cut an opening around the MAF sensor to slide a cone filter on it. So basically putting a conical filter in a stock box with a larger air opening behind the head light. This will be fast to do, easy to intall and maintain a factory appereance.

I think I may go with the Summit Racing Mufflers instead of the Fully Welded ones. Take a listen to this video...

I liked how much better the summit sounded on the ram! Plus when you are just cruzing they are very quiet like the stock exhaust. They give no interior resonated noise and buying two are still cheaper than just one flowmaster. I do highly recomend taking out the resonator, it gives the car a more mid range tone. Hopefully tomorrow I get a chance to make my cold air intake and take plenty of pix.

So wait, did you end up with the Fully welded or the Race mufflers? Your original posts you were talking about the Race mufflers, but your link to SUM-633222 is for the Fully Welded model. And in your sig you have it saying Race mufflers. So which one is it?? lol

fully welded race mufflers, SUM-633222, The most expensive ones they have (like 35 is alot). So far its been lots of appraise on them, in person and from the sound clip. I guess i will change my sig and include the part number for all to buy!!!!! lol
