Good luck with the Monte! I love mine...I bought it new and have had it 3 yrs now. We put the Magnaflows on it and we like the sound (not too loud and not too quiet)...no high pitch in the 4cyl mode. I drive it every day handles better on wet roads with the Goodyear F1 Eagles than the stock tires (and great in snow with the Blizzaks). We also have an 06 Mustang GT too...I think is faster with the stick compared to the Monte, but like the comfort and options better on the Monte (especially as an every day driver).

I love the new exhaust!!! Just trying to decide to remove the resonator or not... does anyone have a resonator delete? I also own a 88 mustang Gt, but I love the ride and seats in the Monte 10x better. Its like the cross of luxury and sports car without driving a $40k import. The Monte also turns heads every where i go, people stair all the time especial older people. Its overall a great car, great performance and great to be seen in!! Next task I am going to do is a cold air intake. I am going to be creative on this, because I want it to look stock but increase the performance. Possible going to fabricate a new front half of the box to make a bigger opening and house a large cone filter. I will take plenty of pix of the job once i start it.

I don't think anyone makes headers for our cars at this time.

I think there are a few people with the resonator delete, but possibly on ls1tech. They'd have more info on that.

I can't wait until you get that sound clip up. This will certainly save me money if I go this route instead of with the Flowmasters. Thanks.

haha headers funny joke. there are minimal parts available for the car. the closest thing to headers is the downipe. when paired with an exhaust cut out it sounds absolutely awesome. great looking SS by the way
