welcome to the site. $4000 is a little high but if it's in perfect condition with low miles and your willing to pay it. If you financed a 3500 car from a lot with 3% intrest would be about 4000 or so roughly + title and plates. just a thought.

Welcome to the MCF. I don't know a whole lot about that particular car so everything I will say will be general knowledge. Most importantly is the transmission. Do a tranny service with a flush of the fluid and filter. Next would be the timing belt if so equipped. If you don't know when it was changed then change it. From there I would do a cooling system flush and while you are at it change the radiator and heater hoses. I would also change the belts. Too many cars have died prematurely because of a split hose or broken belt. After that it si safety stuff. Shocks, struts, brakes, and tires. One thing you can expect to change in the foreseeable future will be the fuel pump. It is electric and housed in the fuel tank. I hope this helps. Gregg
