2002 Monte Carlo AC controls

Angry 2002 Monte Carlo AC controls

The AC control on the drivers side does not function correctly, I get cold air on the passenger side but not the drivers side withthe control all the way down. I I put it up I get heat?

Could be one of 2 things. You could have a issue with the blend door on that side, or you could actually be low on freon. Pretty common for 1 side to blow colder than the other when low.

I'm having that issue right now on a 2006 TrailBlazer; I'll be keeping and eye on this. Interesting comment above - I'll check fluids soon.
