2000 3.4l wont start after head gasket replacement
Hi,
I replaced the radiator, thermostat, radiator fans, water pump and then found out it was the head gasket. Car was starting fine before work on the head gasket replacement began.
I am not doing the work myself, my son and very experienced friend have replaced all the gaskets on the top of the engine, had the heads resurfaced and valves reset and compression tested at a local shop. New plugs and wires, oil changed, car cranks but will not start. Gas and spark, checked and rechecked firing order. Holding the accelerator to the floor will cause the intake to back fire. Timing is set automatically. Any idea before everything gets taken apart again? Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.
