i would say the first step to a major power gain and a better sound would be to get a cold air intake unfortunately they dont make k and n intakes for ls so a customized cai would suffice you will see at least a 10-15 hp gain out the gate and a good sound

 

I was thinking what i may do. I will add rims for sure 16-20" rims, pay my car off. then immediately start savin because i really really want a 2006 monte ss, so i will sell my car and have money built up to buy it. i love those cars! then i could just take my rims off and put em on the '06. so i wont try and super charge the LS because i will sell it. i may put a dual pipe on it though. Good idea??? i can still make it look real nice then upgrade when possible (for sure this year (in the summer)).

I think they're nice cars but I've never had one. I like the idea of a V8 but I'd figure gas mileage and insurance would totally be better on the Supercharged version, plus I have a Supercharged one so I'm kinda partial to them. And I'm not ahuge fan of the front clip of the 06 and ups i like the front ends of the 2000-2005s better. Its all personal choice of which you like better. I'd test drive one of each if i were you.

OK, WELL THAT HELPS ALOT, AND THE THING ABOUT GAS MILEAGE AND INSURANCE (I'M YOUNG AND MALE) SO INSURANCE WILL BE THREW THE ROOF. SO IM GOING TO BUY SOME RIMS, SPEAKERS, AND TOUCH SCREEN 4 NOW. i WILL HAVE RIMS HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK. I WILL GET CHROME, BECAUSE THERES NO WAY OF KNOWING WHAT COLOR MY SS WILL BE. ARE THE SS AUTOMATICALLY SUPERCHARGED?????? IF NOT HOW TO SUPER CHARGE IT?????
