Nice to talk to former member of elite 82nd Airborne I'm interested in history of WWII and the Normandy invasion so I know something 'bout 82nd All Americans and Screaming Eagles from 101st. But it is for another occasion.

Thank You guys for the support. I'm quite sure I've already found what I was looking for with Your help. The garage that takes care of my Monte imports parts from US, daily, so I will give them Your links to take care of the parts.

Regarding the american classic cars in Poland - My car is rather average one in comparison to this:

Zako

It was small event in central Poland. There more Montes in Warsaw. We have one original SS from 1985, purple one and one Monte from 1984.

I can see You have avatars with Nascar race cars. My favourite one..... - Kyle Busch, Nr 18 Rulleezz I know, he is not so popular and shame, he drives Toyota instead of Chevy but that guy knows how to race.

Does your Monte Carlo stir up a lot of interest in Poland? You mentioned there's more in Warsaw but, still, I can't imagine they're all that popular or easy to come by. Just curious how people view the Monte Carlo over there.

Here in Poland still full size or muscle cars from 60' or 70' are the most popular. 80's are still not consider as real classics so they are not so wanted. Monte (different gens) are rare so when they see one of them, it is interesting. My one is admired because of the wheels and the sound. Eventually two pipes give the sound . 90' and later versions, are considered as cars for daily usage and people don't separate them from the crowd on the street. Regarding the Chevys my friends have nice Chevelle from 1970 and El Camino (dream of many people here, as well as Ranchero). To be honest, market here is still being killed by customs fees and taxes. I know a case that a guy imported Ford Econoline from 70's and he had to proove that he will not use the truck for earning money as normal truck because in that case, he should pay the full tax. It took him two years to fix the paperwork. During that time the truck was arrested and was standing outside without any care. You can imagine what happened to the body and engine But they keep working on it I hope the situation will change. and they will decrease the customs fees. Then I will buy Monte first gen
