I'm the new member from Poland. I'm happy owner of Monte Carlo LS 1986. I bought it last year and from that time trying to renovate it to the best shape. It's modified little bit by previous owner and what I can say about the tech details:

- engine 5,0 V8
- carburetor Rochester 4BLB + K&N 14" x 3"
- radiator Corvette ZR1 '91
- gearbox THM 200-4R + with cooler B&M
- rear tires Hercules 295/50/15, front tires Hercules 265/50/15
- modified exhaust system + Borla

Target for this year - take care of bodywork and external elements. All the mechanical problems fixed for this time

Thanks for the all good words and nice to see some pics from my city

At this moment the biggest problem I have are the external parts of the car's body. In the separate topic I asked about the gasket in the door (right and left). Apart from this I will have to think about paint job but for this moment lack of money forces me to make only a renovation of the color and small repairings of the paint. Also the metal stripes (I don't know how You call it) on the vinyl part of the roof and next to rear glass must be renovated, touched by the time. Technically, everything is fixed apart from the "handbrake". I must repair it because I would like to give the car the yellow reg plates (in Poland - historic vehicle). The technical check is rather strict so everything must be in correct state. What is more, damaged plastic cover of the rear right lamp (I saw an offer of the brand new covers for both lamps for 300$, is the price normal ?? ).

And one more thing - my tires are in good shape apart from the one that is damaged little bit. Bad luck is that this is the rear tire so the bigger one. Do You know any internet shop with good prices of tires that ships the stuff abroad ? I would like to keep current size and brand.
