06 monte rollin'
Hello everyone, the names Scott i'm 23 live in South Carolinaand im the proud new owner of a 2006 Monte Carlo 2lt.It's got the 3.5 liter which i have read some negative reviews on but so far im happy. Just got 20% tintall away around which really sets thecar off, up next is new rims probly 18's nothing too crazy. As soon as i can find some performance parts those are on the to do list as well.

Welcome Scott!
Nice to see you here on MCF.
From what I've seen, the 3.5 litre engine is a fairly good engine. It's certainly not going to set any land speed records in the Monte Carlo, which I think is most of the complaints that I've heard about it.
A lot of people are unfairly expecting it to perform like an SS. The 3.5 is not a performance car. It's certainly going to be a much better car at the gas pump though.
If your car is a daily driver, I think you'll really like it.
