05 Monte LS
Hi everyone,
I decided to get a monte around the end of summer, after getting tired of a 92 firebird 3.1 (f-body) and all the rust issues that come from a 21 y/o North East vehicle, without (IMO) proper rust preventative measures. I did flip it for a profit though!
I've been reading here for the last few days in my free time. I'd like to thank all of you for the wealth of info you have available for the W-body platform. I'm not totally new to w-bodies, there's a few in the family. (3800 impala and grand prix) I have the runt of the litter 3400 haha. Oh well, it seems to manuever better than the other two, at least in my mind

Spring break's just around the corner and thanks to you guys I have a general idea of which direction I want to take the monte. I'll start a new thread elsewhere when I start to work on it; I just have to get through this week before spring break. I'm sure many of you know, the profs all wait until the last minute to get more grades in the book before break. It's almost like finals week two months early for me this year.
Anyway thanks for the wealth of knowledge available here, I appreciate it and hope to add to it eventually.
I'll get some pictures up next week, when I get a chance to relax a little.

Hello and Welcome to the forum!!
Keep your nose to the grinder and get the good grades. Make your brain do all the owrk and make you some money, your back can only make you so much. With your brain you can replicate yourself many times and have employees making you money.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I'll get some pictures of the monte posted this weekend or early next week. I am to give it a good cleaning first, it really needs it; the p/o wasn't exactly a neat freak 
. I don't think of myself as a neat freak; sometimes the exact opposite, but how you keep your car says a lot about you.
