So when you say Bezel, you are referring to the large piece that surrounds the whole instrument cluster, has a vent mounted to it, think the ignition switch fits through it. That part? Or the clear plastic that goes over the instruments?
Hi Brenda, just your lucky day Chucky. I do have the bezel piece you are after. Have 4 of them. What condition would you like. I have 2 that have the vent piece broke. It has been a few years since I have looked at them so trying to remember how the broken vent affects its function is foggy, the break is behind the dash you never see it from the front view. They were good enough to keep, so I believe it is an easy repair. After those I have two that are essentially like new, very nice condition. Price wise I would let the the broken ones go for $75 plus shipping. The broken ones are actually very good condition, no cracks, all sound. The like new ones I want $115 plus shipping. I'm in Utah 84660, send me your zip code and I can get a shipping quote to your home. Also I can pull them out of storage and get you some pictures of the actual part to see before you buy. It would also clarify what the broken piece is and what it would take to repair it. Might be an easy repair since your husband is a body repairman. Get the broke one plus shipping you save a fair amount of money. The whole bezel is in otherwise vey good condition. It would be your choice.
Do you still have the engine cover for the engine? It was an unpopular decision to the people. GM remove the decorative engine cover and threw them away as the recall directed. When the customer had the car returned to them they noticed the decorative engine cover missing, like wth? GM said too bad, recall measure, we had to do it. They could have put them into the trunk, but the legally they probably could not have done that. So many people were wishing they would have knew before they took the car in for the recall that they were going to lose the engine cover. They would have removed them before taking it in and then put it back on when they got home. My point is do you have your engine cover or do you need one for your pace car? LMK, I have a number of them tucked away from over the years salvaging them. Should you find your self needing one let me know I can put it into the same package as the instrument cluster bezel. I would take a look at the one I linked. You can see a lot of people decorate theirs, giving the under the hood some BLING effect . It will be the wide gray engine cover the oil fill cap goes through and it has 3800 printed in relief. SO pop your hood and give it a search for the cover. If you need one LMK, there are none on ebay that I could find except for the Supercharged cover, which will be wrong for your Monte. You have to watch the one you buy as there are many, but none for the 3800 Monte, close but no cigar. I will let one go for $45 (it will come with the rare rubber shim nub mounted on the tip. This will permit the cover to rest tightly once snapped in to position. See in-mages of the engine cover by visiting link below. That's the piece you either have or do not have, Just offering up the little things,
Do you have all the cup holder inserts and factory ash tray. These are rare, but it you wanted a complete car with in reason these parts are generally lost along the way. I have both of them for sale if you are not going broke. You can always as later about those. Let me know your decision, and if yes, your providing me your zip code for a freight quote. .
