Question =2003 Nascar Monte = Check it out ? =

A friend of mine has a modified Monte Carlo, that he is possibly looking to get rid of. Problem is that he has no idea as to the value. It is a 2003 model. I believe the modifications include the graphics, the wheels, the re-routed exhaust, the spoiler, and the window webbing. It has 120,000 miles. I believe the engine is stock. It runs great, etc.. I was just hoping I could receive a possible estimate for the value of it. I figured that this forum was the best place to receive some advice. Thanks in advance for all your help. Let me know if I posted this in the wrong area or did anything wrong.

I am not sure how to post photos. It says you need 5 posts, but that it should be allowed to show photos of your own ride.

Sorry, that requirement was made to prevent spammer's that were bombing the MCF.

You could use free sites like www.photobucket.com <(click)for your pictures & then post them here on the MCF.

You can also check sites like www.kbb.com <Click for value($)

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I did check a couple of blue book sites, but I don't believe the car would fit into any standard category. Also, the folder on here seems to work well.

When a Monte or any vehicle is almost 12 years old or + it's difficult to give a online price or estimate.

How many owners ? Any accidents ? Paint Work ? Who did the present modifications ? Does your friend have service records, documentation, Car Fax, Auto Check, books & records.

There are so many factors that are important to get top dollar on any vehicle or a Special Monte Carlo.

When you post your pictures, please post as much information that you have about this Monte > Good Luck <

The car came from a dealership, and I would guess they performed nearly all the modifications and service. It was used as a display / parade piece. The engine is the 3.4. It has had at least 2 owners.

Thanks for the feedback thus far!

Do you know if stickers are generally sold in a kit?
