VERY Nice M/C. I too like the red letter tires. I used the paint stick from wal mart also. Takes a while to dry. And doesn't last long at all. Never thought about using the paint you did. Might give that a try on one of my cars. Once the weather here warms up. Hope to see more of your car on here.

Welcome to the forums. I love the color on the engine and the tires. Makes the whole of the car look sharp. I've been bouncing on a few color schemes of my own, just haven't settled on anything i want to commit to just yet. I look forward to seeing more pictures of it in the future.

Welcome to the Forum...I'm also in my '60's, just got my first Monte Carlo, and have been married to the same guy for 34 years. My only mod so far is the Dynomax muffler with a custom bowtie tip - how do you like your's so far? I LOVE the sound, not too loud but enough to make it fun remote-starting the car while I'm standing behind it.

Well...I guess I can answer ALL the post here, so, here goes.

FIRST and foremost THANKS to ALL for the gracious welcome, it's appreciated!!
1. Montelicious...the STOCK wheels WILL be re-mounted. When..? SOON...VERY soon..!
The stock wheels are in excellent shape, it's just that I already had the NASCAR tires mounted on the *new* rims. Sorry...NOT for sale.
2. Possum...The Dyno-Max mufflers replaced the stock ones. Those suckers were HUGE..LOL. I chose the Dyno-Max mufflers, but I wish I had went with the Flowmasters. OH WELL...the sound is not overbearing, meaning, the sound doesn't wake wife up mornings. I HAD a V-8 Vega that woke the entire neighborhood when I fired it up mornings. With the *NEW* addition of a Viper alarm, I kinda like the remote start too...
3. Caffenated...remember, Murphy was an optimist. LMAO..!

I had the Monte detailed yesterday at "Auto Magic", and it looks GOOD..!!! They also installed the Viper alarm, the 5901 model. It's a bit too soon, but I think I LIKE it.

AGAIN...Thanks to ALL for the warm welcome.
