I think this is a bit of a mistake. I think the poor performance of the team was reflective of the entire Toyota team being down this year, not just Dennis Hamster and his 11 team. But I'm not in the organization and I don't see what the problems are that need to be righted to get that team back right either, so I digress.

Rumors are, Darien Grubb, who just won the championship for Pony Stewart, will be called upon.

 

i agree that he shouldn't have been let go.
But i also think Ford was the best member of the 11 team

Grubb is going to be interesting to see what he does next.
He's got a great resume, but his wins come with some of the sports top drivers (johnson and stewart)
How is he going to do with what may be a less than top 5 driver?

 

Well if Gibbs is getting rid of ppl he should send Lagano down the road aswell

 

Apparently he was trying to replace him with Edwards back in the late spring/summer

 

yep, rumor was Home Depot wanted a championship contender to compete with Jimmie and Lowes.

Amusing thought, with the drivers and CC's out of work right now they should start their own team.

They always teach you never to believe everything you hear... but I swear in this business, it seems like more times than not, the rumors are real.
