THE BIG STORY

Juan Pablo Montoya got his second Sprint Cup victory in Sunday's 220.5-mile Heluva Good! at the Glen at the historic Watkins Glen road course. It came 113 races after his first win, in 2007, at Infineon Raceway. Montoya's Chevrolet finished 4.7 seconds ahead of Kurt Busch. Marcos Ambrose, AJ Allmendinger and Carl Edwards wrapped the top five. Kevin Harvick (11th) is 185 points up on Jeff Gordon (10th).
Also: Although NASCAR has not yet announced the 2011 Sprint Cup schedule, at least six tracks are expected to be impacted by a major realignment. Atlanta Motor Speedway officials said the track will only have one event next season, that date expected to go to Kentucky Speedway. Kansas Speedway is expected to get a second date, with Auto Club Speedway in California losing one. New dates are expected for Phoenix and Chicagoland . . . AJ Allmendinger signed a multi-year contract extension with Richard Petty Motorsports to drive the No. 43 Ford . . . Helio Castroneves was fined $60,000 and put on IRL probation for his actions following the Edmonton race . . . In the World of Outlaws' Ironman 55 in Pevely, Mo., Jason Meyers won Saturday night. Tim Shaffer won Friday night.

Carl Edwards took the pole Saturday at Watkins Glen with a 124.432 mph lap. Kyle Busch had to pit on the pace lap due to improperly secured weight and took the green flag in last place. Jamie McMurray led the first five laps and then Montoya went by. Jimmie Johnson pitted under green on lap 16 with the flat tire. A green-flag sequence of stops began on lap 25 and Montoya came in on lap 27. There was a yellow the next lap when PJ Jones pulled off-course. The restart was lap 31 and Edwards got to second place. On lap 32, Marcos Ambrose took second place and then first place on lap 41. Another yellow waved the following lap when Brad Keselowski spun and Bobby Labonte had contact with another car. On lap 46, the green came out and Montoya led. Montoya and Ambrose pitted together on lap 59 with Juan getting out ahead. There was a debris caution on lap 62. Shortly after the restart, Boris Said hit the guard rail after contact with Tony Stewart. With 21 laps remaining, Jimmie Johnson hit the wall after an apparent bump from Jeff Burton, who was battling with Kyle Busch. Denny Hamlin ran into Johnson's spun Chevy.
