Space, Kevin Harvick! ARE YOU CRAZY? You think cuz it's his home track he's going to pull one off? 1st off, let me say I am a HUGE fan of Harvick. Whem we go to the race at MIS, I am in a Harvick shirt and hat. BUT reality is RCR just isn't up to snuff, and Harvicks pit team isn't the class it needs to be in. None the less, I DO wish Harvick the best of luck, and I DO hope he wins. Am I going to bet my life savings of $1.63 on him? NOT A CHANCE!
So who DO I pick???
1. J. Johnson
2. M. Martin
3. J. P. Montoya
4. G. Biffle
5. D. Hamlin

Hey... 'Space is back, so now the Nascar thread is too! Awesome! We could have done it without you buddy, but it just wouldn't have been the same.
The Hendrick cars did not look good in qualifying - and that extends to Pony and his pluggy sidekick Newman. I gotta admit, at this point I am wishing ill will toward Jimmie Johnson. Jimmie is almost perfect, but Mark is better. Mark Martin & Jimmie will salvage a good run. I'm thinking that the Roush cars may finally get a good race off with Bifle leading the charge. Edwards is off crutch's, but I don't think that made much of difference. Peblo continues to race strong, but I'm still convince he'll run out of luck. In fact, I going to pick him
1. Greg Bifle
2. Mark Martin
3. Joey Logano
1st caution: Juan Peblo
# of cautions: 8
Last place: Joe Nemechek
Its a great idea to pick last place. In these races nowadays, these start-and-park teams appear to be racing each other to the garage for the prestigious last spot. There aren't many SAP's in this race. I wasn't sure TRG Motorsports (71 - Gilliland this week) was going to be back to race this week after Labonte wrecked the car last week. Its ridiculous how small off an operation this team really is. The whole organization has 10 employees and rarely any sponsorship. [I had originally picked Nemechek for last, but found my argument here so convincing I changed it. Then I read Gilliland has a sponsor for the race, so I edited and changed my pick back]

The Gilliland situation is weird. They are sayin' he's going to replace Kyle Busch in this race, inspite that he will start the race in the #71 car. I think that's a first. Nobody ever actually planned to start a race in one car and finish in another.
