Picks/Texas/Sat.Night
WEll, this race has seen more action in 43 laps than last years race saw in 335!!!
I'm worrying about Brad K... that rear end hcange must have screwed up his car or something. But my other two guys are fast and running top 10 right now so we'll see how it works out....
Took the Torino to a crusie in and got home about 15 laps into the race but was listening on the radio. My Torino had a vibration for about 3 years and I could never find it.. finally I decided I had enough and I replcaed every bearing, I rebuilt my rear end, and I finally found a braek drum out of balance... I ran homeo n hte interstate for 7 miles running 80 mph with a big smile on my face... not becuase I was driving a big block engine 80 mph on an interstate... but because it wasn't shaking.... mirror was smooth, the car was like silk.....
Plus, I ran by the part store, $32 even... went to Subway, $14 even.... it's just my night tonight, boys!

Well Carl Edwards said the engine iddn't sound good and the announcers said he wasn't pulling as many RPMS as he should be.
Edwards is good at hearing problems in an engine. I remember a Nationwide race in like 07-08 or so when he knew there was a problem in the engine and he figured out in the car that it was a rod. The crew dropped the oil pan, unbolted that piston, and securedi t out of the way, then sent Edwards back on the track with 7 pistons on the crankshaft...
How that thing ran and was balanced and din't beat the crap out of the rod with teh crank or anything like that... I have no idea... but I think that's what htey said they did.
