Guys, since about race 12, Carl has had a firlm hold on this points lead. But the only other man to lead the points this year, Brent, has made a severe dent in the last couple of weeks. This big battle for 2nd in the overall points has become a major battle for the lead and the championship with 10 races to go..... we have guys in contention for a championship that 5 races ago, I as ready to just write off as out of the picture....

Does anyone else want to write a run down for next week? Obviously I don't know what the heck I'm doing anymore and someone who does needs to do this for a week. Maybe then I can win!!! Grief.... today has been an awful day for me and it was just capped off with an awful race. I figured surely by this point in the season, I would have won a race.... I'm looking at the possibilities of 2 years without a win right now.
Last year, Edwards was good and I was good.... both of us were right on top of the game. Now he and I are both out of championship contention and neither of us has won a race in forever. Just my racing luck.
How appropriate is it... my avatar is a car blwoing up and my truck caught fire, AND my last three races have been crap! Maybe I need to switch to one of my victory lane shots next week for Chicago....

So i didnt watch the race sence it had the rain delay & all that but how the hell did Gordon make it in? Looked like he was done early when i was tracking it online being a lap down & all

Gordon should have won. I'm not buying that Clint Bowyer legally made it that distance. Those guys had something like a 75 lap window with there fuel margins. Without the aid of a caution, Bowyer got nearly twice that out of his last run. Somethings fishy about that...

Hi `Duane, I hope that you don't give `up 4-Sure...It's just not your year & even the best don't make the right picks for every race or event. There's just to many variables/factors/conditions in Auto Racing...I think you can pick the best driver, with the best car & team & no one can predict if your pick is going to be knocked out of a race by another driver/incident/accident/tech or engine problem etc...I believe it take all the above to go right + + + have Racing LUCK 4-Sure..To me it's all like the roll of the dice...Some days U win & many days you lose...Just don't stop playing & have fun with & in the game

I may live the rest of my days and never know why Denny Hamlin took 4 tires under green with 7 laps to go instead of just 4 seconds worth of gas or something.... that was ridiculous, I thought..
I'm still amazed that in Atlanta last week, not a single car tried to do 2 tires, no tires, or stay out under a caution with G-W-C coming up....

WoW, I just watched the recap of the Race & it was sure a long race with all the rain delays...I was really surprised to see Jeff Gordon get in the chase I sure would not have bet on that one 4-Sure...It seem Kyle was not 2 happy without making `it...If I have time I'm going to go back & read more about the race...I don't know how anyone could have picked the Top 3 in this race...WoW...Should be a good chase
