Well Penske today went ahead and released AJ Allmendinger from his contract.... so another open ride for next year. Weird how things are shaking out, makes for an interesting silly season....

Ok. Finally a race trck I like to watch. So my picks are 88 ,Matt Kenseth, Kyle Bush. Hope the weather holds out and is nice & cool

Jimmie, Kyle, and the Roush cars paced practice... Junior was 7th or 8th, pretty quick. Goign to be good, me thinks....

Dale Jr was fastest in Happy Hour, not second fastest.
A lot of very similiar picks this week - its gonna be hard to break-away. I stick with my usual Pocono picks...
1. Dale Jr.
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. Denny Hamlin
I wish I had picked those last week. I can't see much reason to change those picks for any race for the rest on the season really. Jr and Jimmie have been my mainstay, and everytime I leave Jimmie out he wins...

I forgot how much this track owes Mark Martin. Damn, that Pocono race earlier this year was a heart breaker! I can't bring myself to pick him - those Toyota's have just been so unreliable (even tho I picked Hammy). But I sure want him to win this one - even more then I'm rooting for Jr!
