Sorry Duane, you forgot to add 5 points to me for having the coolest Monte Carlo...

Today I put the BudChev back into storage. It hurt to do that today because the weather was awesome. But that`s when you have to do it. You need a day with nice weather that you can wash and detail the car, still drive it to the storage place (my sister`s garage) keeping it clean and dry to cover.

I didn`t do much with the car this year (and especially regret not having it in Bristol as I knew I would), but I snapped a few photos around town before I parked it up. It was the first and only photo session this year really...

... one last shot before covering, dormant for the next 3-5 months ...

The relevence here is that when I cracked a beer on the first lap, right before the first sip I called out "Bud Chev!" and pounded the Budweiser.

And then the Budweiser Chev won the race.

Congrats on the big win Duane! How relieving is that? you want me to make you a trophy?

 

I'm glad you did that Brent so Harvick could get a win. I wish I wouldn't have picked Johnson so I could have won also. I shoulda went with Kyle Busch.

Something told me today to pick harvick and drop Jimmy...
I ended up recording the race..as I was outside helpn my neighbor do brake lines and also brakes....all brand new...Not to mention to many people stopping by holding up our progress...

So, I just fast forwarded thru it til the great ending!.....Reminds me of the short track raceing here at home!

Glad I didnt pick gordon ahahahah....almost did ...
Had it right with keselowski...But its to bad Jr wasnt worth the squat....

Looks like I wont break into the top 5 even after homestead...
So, congrats Duane! on your win!!!!

 

And to add a bummer to everyone, including me, any points penalties levied over this incident will be applied to all members who had those picks....
