Hey Mike, I got a copy of NASCAR last night when I had nothing to do. I messed with it on "Champion" difficulty last night and my car would barely hang on to the draft at Daytona and then I ended up cooking my engine! I turend it down to "Hard" and it made a world of difference. I ended up leading a couple of laps in my Gatorade Duel race before getting slung shot by a 5 car draft... ended up running 3rd I think. Then I was running top 10 and led a couple laps in the 500 before spinning with about 6 to go.... ended up 35th. Then I was running Phoenix... qualified 20th, running about 23rd, tried to stay out to lead a lap but Ray kept calling me into the pits... went in, 4 tires, fuel, grill tape, and a trackbar adjustment... cmae back onto the track to find a caution had flown and the console locked up looking at Kurt Busch's car pointing backwards in turn 4. Had to turn it off.... and now here I be....


Dad wants me to come to church and record his song... be about the third time I've been to such a place in two years.

 

Yeah champ mode is insaine i won my dual race & the 500 lol my only win in 26 races i was to the good on fuel by 1 lap & everyone pitted within 3 to go dont pit till ur fuel says 1 lap left youll come out on one less stop then everyone else in a race on 20% with 4x fuel & tire wear, i suck on 1.5 tracks i avg 20s on those, short tracks & daytona & dega i can run great, texas i run excelent at my car isnt upgraded much & i can wot all the way around the track, road courses suck in qualifying so i cant pass much when the race starts, but its a chalange atleast

 

I have not kept up with the races in a while...I miss it all the time, I work to much. Or else I am not getting the jist of what is going on here, I am alsways late and/or lost.

 

Mike, are you still on champion mode or just "hard?" I just re-ran Phoenix, started 20th, caution came out again in the middle of pit stops, and I restarted 13th, finished 19th. It was an improvement! I've got an upgraded chassis... and these guys just drive like they have 50 more bhp coming off corners.... I don't stand a chance. The advantage to that is that I an drive in a lot deeper than them. I'm trying to save up for a new engine package.

I went back down to hard after a 42nd place finish at phenox lol Danica wrecked me there & ive only got my trans & breaks fully upgraded the rest is halfway & yeah they have i think 100 more hp if u dont have an engine upgrade, im liking the challenge though lol, well have to race online sometime

 

After not using it for like 2 months I decided to cancel my Xbox Live subscription......

 

Lol mine ran out 2 months ago but Best Buy usually has 1 year for $30 on black friday so ill prob reup for 2 years, maybe with the nascar game u can renew & get into some racing lol

 

I got out of Forza for a while and my setups were so antiquated that I wasn't even close to competitive when I went back.... I gave up not too long after that.

Is the multiplayer on the new game bteter than the old one?
