Hey Brent, I always did like that blue paint job that they ran on Dale Jarrett's car in 1999 when he won the championship.... not exactly a classic, but it is an older 88 and a Ford, like the AJ Foyt car...

Jr is moving the right way now. But he sure needed that caution. He probably threw that spring rubber out the window himself...

Its harder for these guys to do it under the scutiny of tv, but back when we raced late models at Delaware Speedway, we used to always paint a chunk of styrofoam silver/chrome and throw it out the window when we needed a caution. We didn't invent that trick, but it was safe and it worked. Never got busted on that one either - probably cuz we weren't the only ones doing it.

18 down a cylinder - awesome! #11 is next!
But then, the announcers disagree. And Harvick can't get past him. I'm thinking Pyle is making excuses for not keeping up with Hamlin

He actually gained 1 spot on pit row (up to 15th) and lost 3 spots on the restart when he got into Burton (although he didn't start that). He has yet to recover from that first stop when he lost 11 positions...
