Picks/Martinsville/Sunday Afternoon
Just a little FYI ......
Chevrolets have won more races at martinsville than any other manufacturer.... in History...
The only Toyota wins to the best of my knowledge was in the COT's..
This season they have reverted to the style of vehicles from 2007....
and no longer the "COT"..... something else to consider when makeing your picks!

The car is still the COT. The only thing they did was put the spoilers and front bumpers from the old car back on the new one. Not really a big difference. The car is still the COT, and still not really comprable to the old car.
I can't wait for the New new car next year - they look so much better...
Yeah, don't stress the scoring thing Duane. I'm in one pool (one that pays real cash) and that guy is lucky to update the website with results by Thursday. We'll always get it sorted out eventually. Even Nascar itself can't figure out what happened during a race weekend until Tuesday!

A little off topic, but NASCAR today announced the format for the all-star race. They will do four (4) twenty (20) lap segments, and then a ten (10) lap run to the finish. My favorite part though is that the winners of Segments 1-2-3-4 will start 1-2-3-4 for the all star race.
For example, Kyle Busch wins Segment 1, Jimmie Johnson wins Segment 2, Carl Edwards wins Segmetn 3, and Brad K wins Segment 4... the starting order for the final segment is then Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski....
Pretty cool, huh?
Also, Brian Vickers is starting Martinsville. So if you're a fan of Matt Kenseht, Jamie McMurray, or pretty much any driver who si going to be running at MArtinsville, you might want to check your picks and do some thinking.

They are going to change Bristol... do'n't know how... but they are going to change it. Most likely it will go back to the old style surface....

AND ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???? Jr close to winning "In part due to Steve Letarte" WHAT??????? RETARTE IS WHAT HAS KEPT JR FROM WINNING!!!! As someone on this forum pointed out, Jeff Gordon's only two winless seasons in his career came under Retarte, and Jr hasn't won with Retarte. Retarte is doing what he always does... dominate the first half of a race, fall off in the 2nd half, and then just salvage a "top 10" when he should have been in victory lane. Unless Retarte changes some philosophy, wakes up, or someone new gets on the box again... Earnhardt isn't winning a race.

Well folks, I have a professional conference to attend on Friday evening after school and a good part of Saturday. I probably won't catch practice and qualifying very well, but I am going to be here to enjoy some MArtinsville racing!!!!!
