Here's how this is gonna go down , You are all likening this to Martinsville, so I am reverting back to my picks that earned me the only 1-2-3 finish in order for the forum.
1. Happy Harvick
2. Dale jr
3. Kyle Busch
My reason then for picking these were that I had to do something different than everyone else. Dale Jr was picked because I felt he was due for something and as for Kyle and Kevin, well thats just who they are. It worked for me then and we will see what happens. I did no research at all, just back to the Martinsville thread.
If you all remember this race, Jr was almost beat for second by Busch at the line. Almost took the 1-2-3 away from me.

I'm thinking I'm going to edit my picks because of copy cats... everyone is taking my Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin!! I might try to slip Johnson and/or Pyle o'Bulschit in there somewhere.

Getting a wide variety here now, and how many people have we picked up in the last few weeks? 3 or 4, Gonna make it tougher. Good Luck and remember second place is still the first loser.
I had to edit this because apparently I am talking of myself since I am in second place for overall standings!

Maybe now that the segment 2 title is behind us, people are not picking as "safe". I'm still waiting for qualifying to make my picks - but I sure am hoping for a strong Junior finish.

I'm sad how much Martin has been left behind this season, but not surprised by the lack of interest from Hendrick. He's on the way out tho, right? Kahne is not going to do any better with this team without big adjustments. I'm thinking the Chase is out of Martin's reach now. 2 years ago when he was the new guy and all the rave of the team he nearly won the championship. Could Hendricks actually be intentionally keeping him down to keep Jimmie on top?

They're not keeping mark down due to Jimmy and Kahne won't due as good for the same reason.... They have to keep JR up there because he's there marketing money maker.

There's my JR rant.... Go Kyle Bush!!

No owner to my knowledge has ever put together a perfect 4 car team. Hendrick hasn't done it, so many guys have failed in taht 4th team. Brian Vickers, Wally Dallenback, Casey Mears, and now it is apparently Mark MArtin. Maybe next year, it will be Kasey Kahne. I think the 3 car model is the best. Last year, 3 childress cars were running really well. The year before, they had 4 and tehy all ran badly. Before they had 4 cars, they all ran well..... now they have Menard again, and only Harvick is running worth a damn week in and week out. Roush has had up to 5 cars, and only about 3 are ever really competitive each week. I just don't think a team owenr yet has figured out how to run a perfect 4 car team and each team becompetitve week in, week out. Just doesn't happen.
