Menard is a plug. He should be homeless. Before being "gifted" his top-notch ride with Childress this year he had:

147 starts
0 wins
2 top 5's
8 tops 10's

Even after matching all these stats this year alone (at Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton's expenses), his one win in 176 starts is pathetic. In baseball terms, if you counted even his all his top 10's as hits, his career batting average would only be 0.085 - hardly a professional athlete.

Using the same way to calculate our other poll options "batting average":

Joey Logano 0.279
Greg Bifle 0.374
David Ragan 0.171

All at least twice as good as Menards average.

Bifle shouldn't even be on this poll. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Bifle fan! But I know lots of people who are and I see many Bifle fans at the track in his merchandise. He's challenged for Championships. He's earning his money. I'm not so sure about those other guys. Logano's okay... likeable...

 

I knew I could depend on Brent to check the Paul Menard box!!! Only thing that could have made this tough for Brent is if I included Juan Peblo.

 

Weird stat of the day. Since he finished 2nd at Dover, Jimmie Johnson has now won ONE (1) race in the last 365 days.... thanks Dale Earnhardt, Jr.!!!!!

Greg Biffle is on the pole, which means he can go no where but backwards and most likely will. Just think, this is his best track and this could be the highlight of his season if he runs top 5 at all this week.

Alright.. guess hte last minute guys have plenty of time before the race tomorrow which starts at about 2:00. I am in Brunswick, GA tonight and may just make it back to college tomorrow before the end of the race.
