Duane, I don't know where you heard or read that Martin had a tire go down at NewHampishire. I can't back that up, but when I was listening live (on TrackPass) to Martins radio there was no talk of a tire issue when Martin pitted unnessarily with 25 laps to go. The only radio chatter was in regards to pushing Jeff Gordon, which they did (except on the last lap of course). This ensured Gordons good finish and that Martin was a great team player, but I am still completely disgusted with this. Martin gave up a potential win to help Gordon's Cup run. Nothing against Gordon really, but I don't like this sinister team play at my guy's expense. Shows how important Martin is to that team. I'm disappointed that he would even play along and I won't be picking Martin again this year, inspite that he was fastest in happy hour!

I just finished watching the Nationwide race that I PVR'd while I was at work. It was boring, but we learned how dominate Carl can be!
Jimmie Johnson's comeback is inevitable. This is not the worst shape he's been in on his way to a Championship...

I choose...
1. Carl Edwards
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. Jeff Gordon

Ahh, all I have to go by is the TV broadcast. PArt of the neat thing about goign to a race is sometimes crap like that will never float past you. Maybe I should invest in this "Trackpass" technology...

Jeff Gordon qualified 34th. Hate to see something happen to him. I think this is the 2nd or 3rd week I've taken an all Ford team this year. I think it screwed me at the first Dover race too actually. Oh well. I can't do any worse than I've done the lats 2 weeks... literally, can't do worse, last 2 weeks in a row!

Watching this truck series race... they've just run like 20 laps under green, which is amazing. Guys are spinning out all by themselves, 20 lenghts between cars. Guys are diving 6' wide cars into 2' wide openings.... (don't take that the wrong way) Plus, 50 laps to go, someones car ran out of gas. I remember at Bristol, cars were running out of fuel with 20 laps to go!!!

I've come to this conclusion. You can run top 20 in any truck series race by following these guidelines

1) Get a driver who can keep a truck pointing straight that long.
2) Get a crew chief who can keep fuel in the car.
3) Build an engine that can run 200 miles.

Do that, and you'll be winning races in no time.

Well , the truck race was a race. Not an awesome race, but it was probably better the the Sprint Cup series snoozefest that was at Kentucky earlier this year...
