A pothole opens up on the track at Dover! The red flag is out right now. Last pothole was in 2010 during the Daytona 500 and I know this cuz I was freezing my a$$ off in the grandstands. Ironically, Jamie McMurray was the winner for the 2010 incident. He is the big loser today. That chuck of concrete could have killed him!

Dover has been rumored for years to be losing a race.... hasn't happened yet. I can tell you from experience going there that it is a major leaguer disaster to get in and out of. You can park in this mall next door, the university across the street, and you're in the midst of regular traffic going up and down US 13, reuglar Dover traffic, plus, there just ins't a major interstate in the town to help get traffic in and out.
They used the same mess they tried to use to patch Daytona the first time here too. Speeds and material are different at this track.... but we'll see if it holds!
And again, NASCAR decided not to let a car that was damaged by their own track repair it under red flag.
Yet they let teams like Kyle Busch repair cars at Charlotte when a cable falls down and tears them up.
Where is the consistency here?
